Lenna Gunning-Williams and Sophie Jackson have been called-up by England Under-23s and England Under-20s respectively for the upcoming November international break.

Already capped six times for the Young Lionesses after making her debut in October, 2024, Lenna has retained her place in the squad ahead of their home double-header this month.

This November, Emma Coates’ side continue their WU23 European Competition with a fixture against Norway at Joie Stadium on Thursday 27 November (7pm UK). Then, four days later, they will host USA in an international friendly at Wham Stadium on Monday 1 December (7pm UK).

The 20-year-old has made six appearances for us this season, with five of those coming in the Barclays Women’s Super League.

Goalkeeper Sophie retains her place in the England youth squad after earning her maiden call-up to the Under-19s last month.

Named in Lauren Smith’s squad in October, 2025, for the first time, our Academy star preserved a clean sheet on her debut for Under-19s and made a second appearance in England’s third game of their qualifying for next summer’s Under-19 European Championship.

Head Coach has named a squad made up of Under-20 sand Under-19 players as they head to Spain for three games in what will be the first preparation camp for next year’s FIFA Women’s U20 World Cup.

The Young Lionesses will face China PR on Wednesday 26 November (4pm UK) before taking on USA three days later (12pm UK). They will then round up their camp with a test against Mexico on Tuesday 2 December (11am UK). All games will take place at Pinatar Arena, Spain.

The young shot stopper has been part of the Women’s First Team set-up alongside Lize Kop and Eleanor Heeps while continuing to feature for our Under-19s in the Professional Game Academy League, making eight appearances to date this term.
