Dan Lewindon has left City Football Group after three years to become the new Performance Director at Tottenham.
Lewindon has been CFG’s Director of Player Health and Performance since August 2022, working across their global network of clubs.
Prior to this he spent six years as Head of High Performance Science and Medicine at the Lawn Tennis Association. He has a degree in physiotherapy, a Masters in sport and exercise science and an MBA in organisational leadership.
Lewindon, who is currently serving his notice with CFG, will have responsibility for medical, sports science, nutrition and psychology across Tottenham’s Men’s, Women’s and Academy teams.
He replaces Adam Brett, the former Director of Performance Services who left this summer after a year. Head of Sport Science Nick Davies also departed this summer to take up the same role at Everton.
“We are delighted that Dan will be joining us as Performance Director,” said Sporting Director Johan Lange.
“He was the standout candidate and brings a wealth of experience across a wide range of team and individual sports, working in high-performance environments with elite athletes.
“Dan also has a strong academic background and his expertise will be hugely beneficial to us as we drive this area of the club with innovative thinking. We look forward to Dan starting.”
