Mohamed Salah scored in Liverpool’s 5-1 comeback win over Tottenham on Sunday as Arne Slot’s men were crowned Premier League champions.
Dominic Solanke fired Spurs ahead with a bullet header at Anfield but their lead didn’t last long with the league winners producing a fine performance.
Luis Diaz slotted into an empty net to level things up and the stadium’s roof nearly came off when Alexis Mac Allister scored a beauty from 20 yards.
Cody Gakpo joined the party, slamming a shot into the bottom corner from 16 yards, before Liverpool star Salah made it four just after the hour mark.
An own goal from Spurs’ Destiny Udogie followed to make it five and there were wild celebrations at the full-time whistle, with Liverpool landing the top-flight trophy for the 20th time to equal Manchester United’s record.

‘This is way better than five years ago!’
When Liverpool last won the Premier League title in 2020, supporters couldn’t be there because of coronavirus restrictions.
Mohamed Salah is very happy he gets to celebrate with the club’s fans this time around.
‘Incredible,’ he told Sky Sports. ‘To win the Premier League with the fans is something special. You saw it in every game.
‘This is way better [than five years ago]. 100 per cent. We have a different group now, a different manager so we’re able to show we can do it again and it’s special.’

‘It’s difficult to put into words’
Liverpool head coach Arne Slot, who replaced Jurgen Klopp last summer, has just spoken to Sky Sports.
‘It’s difficult to put into words,’ the Dutchman said. ‘You can feel how important it was for the fans to be here.
‘We always come back, we always find a way to win. I don’t think we could have lost today.
‘Our main focus was to win this game, if you are a part of it you still feel the pressure of getting the points over the line.
‘For the whole season we were on top of the league but you also know how hard the Premier League is. The belief for us to win it was here throughout the season.’

‘This is the most beautiful club in the world. We deserve all of this. Let’s enjoy the next couple of weeks.
‘I was desperate for these fans, and the fans around the world.’

Liverpool equal Man Utd record
BREAKING: Liverpool are Premier League champions!
FULL TIME!
Liverpool come from behind to smash Tottenham 5-1 and they’re now confirmed as Premier League champions.
It’s the 20th time they’ve been crowned winners of the top-flight, moving level with the record set by their arch rivals Manchester United.
Nunez comes on
Nunez replaces Mac Allister in a fifth substitution for the hosts.
Both teams make changes
Both teams have made changes in the last 10 minutes, by the way.
Jota, Jones, Elliott and Endo on for the Reds, replacing Gakpo, Szoboszlai, Diaz and Alexander-Arnold.
Spurs have taken off Tel and Solanke. Odobert and Richarlison come on.
We’ve played 77 minutes. Not long to go…

Tottenham might as well not even be here. This is men against boys.

GOAL! Liverpool 4-1 Tottenham
SALAH!
Liverpool have four – the title is pretty much in the bag, now.
The Egyptian flies past Udogie with ease and hits a brilliant shot past Vicario.
His goal celebration appeared to be an advertisement for the Google Pixel phone… Picking one up from a ‘fan’ in the crowd and taking a selfie. That was almost certainly pre-planned.
Liverpool lead 4-1 after 63 minutes.
Danso shoots!
Danso has a go for Tottenham from distance… No real danger as it goes miles wide. Just about sums up Spurs’ performance today.
Salah shoots!
Salah sees a shot deflected behind for a corner. Liverpool are in full control. Tottenham aren’t getting a sniff at the moment.
Chance for Mac Allister!
The Argentine has already been on the scoresheet today but he’s hunting a second. He’s just tried his luck – but his effort went narrowly wide. Liverpool pushing for a fourth.
It’s still 3-1 to the hosts. 55 minutes played.
Chance for Salah!
Liverpool come bursting forward but Salah can’t quite get onto the end of a ball from Gakpo.
Back underway!
The second half is underway at Anfield – Liverpool are 45 minutes away from the title.
Spurs have made two half-time changes as Kulusevski replaces Maddison and Sarr comes on for Gray.
