What is the team news?
Roberto De Zerbi told the media on Tuesday afternoon that Sandro Tonali won’t be involved after incurring a knock in Saturday’s goalless draw with Everton.
Destiny Udogie, however, is available after missing the game against the Toffees.
Pedro Porro was also held out of the Everton match and he remains absent for the Liverpool trip, joining Mykailo Mudryk, Dejan Kulusevski, Wilson Odobert and Xavi Simons on the sidelines.
As for Liverpool, their boss Andoni Iraola has confirmed that Giorgi Mamardashvili will start in goal, while Joe Gomez looks set to feature for the first time since picking up an injury in pre-season.
Conor Bradley, Federico Chiesa, Hugo Ekitike and Giovanni Leoni remain sidelined.
