What’s impressive about Arteta’s achievement is that he achieved his 42 wins in 69 games, one fewer than the Special One.
The Spaniard will definitely break Mourinho’s record, but he is still miles away from the manager who has the most wins in London derbies – Arsene Wenger.
The legendary Frenchman won 106 of his 194 derbies during his time at Arsenal.
However, Arteta maintains the best win percentage (60.9 per cent) out of himself, Wenger (54.6 per cent) and Mourinho (60 per cent), which is really impressive.
