Mikey Moore has not had the easiest time at Rangers so far, but the Tottenham Hotspur youngster produced a big moment against Dundee United.

Rangers were playing their first game since the sacking of Russell Martin, which came just before the latest international break.

It was another poor result for the Scottish giants, who were forced to salvage a draw at home to Dundee United.

But Mikey Moore was one of the players who played a key role in helping rescue a point for the Gers, and Spurs fans are hopeful he can now kick on.

Tottenham fans have Mikey Moore hope after his assist for Rangers

Tottenham Hotspur supporters are hoping that Moore can finally kick on at Rangers after he assisted James Tavernier’s equaliser against Dundee United.

The teenager came off the bench at Ibrox to set up the Rangers captain for a late equaliser at home to the Scottish Premiership’s fourth-place team.

Moore showed great strength to hold off the Dundee United defender, cut inside and pick out Tavernier, who smashed home his effort from inside the penalty area.

The winger now has two assists this season for Rangers, but he will certainly be hoping for more after coming off the bench to help save the team.

Moore scored a hat-trick for England U-19s during the October international break, which will have given him a nice confidence boost.

After the match, Spurs fans took to X to share their delight for the academy product and are hoping this can help ignite his loan at Rangers.

One Spurs supporter claimed: “Here we go. Hopefully, this is the start of more minutes and confidence for Mikey.”

“Mikey Moore comes on as an 83rd-minute sub and provides the cross and assist in the 87th minute to pull Rangers level against Dundee United. He’s one of our own,” stated another fan.

Another fan wrote: “Hope his fortunes improve there. Pleased he’s made an impact.”

There was even praise from Rangers’ support: “Mikey Moore, that’s what you’re here to do. Brilliant strength and good pass, that’s the assist we need.”

However, Tottenham could recall Moore in January should he continue to be left on the bench under the next manager.

TBR Football understands that Tottenham are concerned about Moore’s loan and are assessing the new managerial situation at the club.

Jamie Donley’s struggles on loan at Stoke City continue

Another player whose loan Spurs will need to assess is Jamie Donley, as he continues to struggle on loan at Stoke City.

Donley impressed on his debut for Stoke, but over recent weeks, the midfielder’s minutes have really dried up.

The 20-year-old has made just five appearances for the Potters and played just 49 minutes of football in the Championship this season.
