Ghana midfielder Mohammed Kudus announced his arrival in style for Tottenham Hotspur, providing two assists in a commanding 3-0 victory over Premier League returnees Burnley on Saturday.

Making his first start since completing a summer switch from West Ham United, the 24-year-old wasted little time in making an impact.

His precise cross in the 10th minute was met by Brazilian forward Richarlison, who opened the scoring to give Spurs a 1-0 lead at the break.

Kudus was again the architect after the interval, picking out Richarlison inside the box for a spectacular acrobatic finish that doubled the advantage.

Welsh forward Brennan Johnson then sealed the win in the 66th minute to round off an impressive afternoon for the North Londoners.

Kudus, who was replaced by French youngster Mathys Tel in the 85th minute, will be hoping to retain his spot in Thomas Frank’s starting XI when Spurs travel to the Etihad Stadium to face defending champions Manchester City in their next weekend.
