Aston Villa are set to take on Tottenham on Sunday as both sides aim to take all three points.
It is no doubt a tricky game for Unai Emery’s side despite their resurgence in form before the international break.
One of the players who was key to this is Morgan Rogers, with the winger finally showing glimpses of his ability from last season.
Rogers had been terrible for Villa at the start of the campaign. However, the attacker is now on track to achieve a career first.
Morgan Rogers aiming to register an assist in three successive Premier League appearances
While Aston Villa may be the underdogs against Tottenham, they have many players who could tip the balance in their favour.
Rogers is arguably Villa’s main man at present, especially after he registered 30 goal contributions last season.
Coming up against Spurs, Rogers has finally started to make an impact again, picking up assists in victories against Fulham and Burnley.

Now, according to BBC Sport on 18 October, the England international could break a personal record against Spurs if he gets another assist.
The winger is yet to ever register an assist in three successive Premier League games, something that could be broken on Sunday.
What is Rogers’ record against Tottenham?
Against Tottenham, Rogers has a fabulous record.
In his three matches against the North London club, he has registered two goals and two assists.
His best performance came in the FA Cup last season, as the winger picked up an early assist before netting Villa’s second in a 2-1 win at Villa Park.
Now, the England international will be looking to repeat this feat as he and the Birmingham outfit aim to return to the top half of the Premier League table.
Hopefully, Rogers will be able to show the rest of the division that his slow start to the new campaign was just an anomaly.
