The fixtures are coming thick and fast, and Newcastle United have the opportunity to climb the Premier League
Newcastle United have climbed to 11th in the Premier League following a 4-1 win over Everton. Malick Thiaw fired the Magpies to victory against David Moyes' side at the Hill Dickinson Stadium on Saturday night with two brilliant headers.
The 24-year-old defender, whom Newcastle signed from AC Milan for about £34m in the summer, broke the deadlock inside the opening minute. Lewis Miley doubled the Magpies' lead midway through the first half before Nick Woltemade etched his name onto the scoresheet.
Thiaw put the fourth and final nail in the coffin on the hour mark, netting another header. Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall pulled one back for Everton in the 70th minute, but Newcastle held the Toffees at bay.
While Eddie Howe's side are in the bottom half of the table, just four points separates them from Sunderland in fourth. So, with that being said, ChronicleLive has looked at Newcastle's upcoming fixtures and how they compare to their rivals.
