Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly holding an ‘emergency meeting’ on Thursday to assess Thomas Frank’s future at the club following a 3-2 defeat to AFC Bournemouth on Wednesday night.

The Cherries bagged a 95th minute winner through Antoine Semenyo in a fairytale goodbye for the winger and that defeat made it just two wins in Spurs’ last 12 matches. Tottenham Hotspur sit 14th in the Premier League after 21 outings this term.

Frank’s fractured relationship with Spurs supporters continues and wasn’t helped by an image of the manager drinking from an Arsenal branded cup prior to kick-off. Speaking about that gaffe after the match, the former Brentford boss said: "I definitely did not notice it. It would be completely stupid of me to take it if I knew.

"It's a little bit sad in football that I need to be asked about it. I would never do something that stupid. I think we're definitely going in the wrong direction if we need to worry about me having a cup with a logo of another club."

It’s believed that Frank was handed the cup, left at the Vitality Stadium by recent visitors Arsenal, by a member of staff. However, combined with the result, it puts even more pressure on the Spurs manager. LondonWorld looks at the current frontrunners who could replace Frank, should he be given his marching orders.

Oliver Glasner

Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner is currently out of contract at the end of the season. The Austrian, who won the FA Cup and Community Shield with the Eagles last year, is yet to sign a new deal.

Glasner has been outspoken with criticism over a lack of backing from the Crystal Palace board in recent transfer windows, seeing key first team players such as Eberechi Eze leave Selhurst Park. The 51-year-old has earned plaudits for his work in South London and is one of the first names to be linked with managerial vacancies - Manchester United also said to be courting the boss.

Marco Silva

Marco Silva is another Premier League manager who has quietly, but impressively, gone about his business in London. The Fulham head coach has been at Craven Cottage since 2021, taking the club from the Championship to an established Premier League side.

The Portuguese boss is also out of contract come the end of the 2025/26 campaign and is yet to agree a new deal. In November, it had been reported that Fulham offered the manager a new contract but Silva is another who has shared frustrations with the lack of budget and backing available to him.

Jurgen Klopp

Perhaps the most eye-catching of names to be touted as a frontrunner for the Tottenham Hotspur job at this early stage is former Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp. The German, who won the Premier League and two Champions League titles at Anfield, has not been in the dugout since leaving the club in 2024.

Klopp has kept busy by working as the Head of Global Soccer for Red Bull GmbH but is still just 58 years old, making a return to management at some point in the future a real possibility. That said, the ex Liverpool boss had promised the Anfield faithful never to manager a Premier League rival in the future.

Enzo Maresca

Chelsea parted ways with Enzo Maresca on New Year’s Day after a falling out with the chiefs at Stamford Bridge. The Italian enjoyed a successful season and a half at Stamford Bridge, winning the Conference League, the Club World Cup and qualifying for the Champions League.

The role at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium would likely allow the 45-year-old more of a say on the direction of the club than at Chelsea but an appointment this month would be a rapid return to management for Maresca. It would, however, allow the former Leicester City boss to remain settled in London.

In other news, Tottenham sign £40m striker, goalkeeper and beat Man Utd to winger in dream XI if transfer rumours are true.
