Black Stars coach Otto Addo was at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London on Sunday to witness the Premier League match between Tottenham Hotspur and Sunderland. Otto was there as a guest of Black Stars forward Mohammed Kudus as part of plans to observe players in Europe in preparation for the 2026 FIFA World Cup in Mexico, Canada, and the USA.
Mohammed Kudus, who has been in fine form for Tottenham Hotspur since his summer move from West Ham United, lasted only 19 minutes of the match after picking up an injury and was replaced by Randal Kolo Muani.
Otto Addo spent time with the player after the match to assess the extent of the injury and discuss future plans as Ghana builds up to the World Cup.
The former Borussia Dortmund player and coach is set to lead Ghana to its 5th World Cup in Canada, Mexico, and the United States, where the Black Stars will play Panama, England, and Croatia in Group L.
