James Maddison has shared a positive insight into his ongoing recovery from his anterior cruciate injury on his social media channels.
Out of action since the summer after suffering the injury on our pre-season tour in Korea, the midfielder shared a video of himself with the ball back at his feet on Monday.
While he is expected to remain out for several more months as he continues his rehabilitation, it is certainly an encouraging sight to see Madders slowly getting back to doing what he loves most.
Wearing a replica shirt of our iconic number 11 and fellow playmaker Rafael van der Vaart from the 2011/12 campaign, the video was seemingly dedicated to Mohammed Kudus - who unfortunately is also set for a spell on the sidelines after he picked up a quad issue against Sunderland - with James performing Mo's trademark celebration at the end of the video, as well as tagging his team-mate in the post.
