Fulham have been the quietest team in the Premier League during this summer transfer window.

Indeed, the Whites have made just one signing so far this summer, and even then that was a backup goalkeeper on a free transfer.

However, as we head into the final weeks of the season, things could get interesting at Craven Cottage.

Rodrigo Muniz may be set to leave Fulham. Atalanta are keen on Muniz, while Newcastle have looked at Muniz too as Alexander Isak could join Liverpool.

Speaking on Transfers Exposed, The Sun’s Dean Scoggins has been discussing Fulham’s striker situation, and he says that the Whites could sign a high-profile player to replace Muniz.

Richarlison could replace Rodrigo Muniz

Scoggins spoke about Muniz’s situation at Fulham.

The journalist named both Newcastle and Nottingham Forest as potential suitors.

Meanwhile, he spoke up the idea of Richarlison heading to Fulham, claiming that this would be an easy deal for Fulham to do, noting that Marco Silva is a big fan of Richarlison from their time together for both Everton and Watford.

“Muniz could leave Fulham um with Forest looking at another striker up top,” Scoggins said.

“Newcastle could come into that reckoning as well.

“Richarlison to Fulham would be a very easy deal then to do after that. Silva is a big fan of Richarlison, signed him at Everton. There’s a bit of a deal to be done there.

Richarlison’s record under Marco Silva

A move to Fulham would make the world of sense for Richarlison.

Sadly, Richarlison has flopped at Tottenham, and he doesn’t appear to have much of a future in north London at this point.

However, he could still be an asset within the Premier League, and he knows Marco Silva very well from his time at Watford and Everton.

Richarlison actually has a fantastic record under Silva over the years.

Richarlison cost Tottenham £60m a few years ago, but Fulham will surely be looking to do a cheaper deal here as the striker’s stock has fallen considerably in recent times.
