AC Milan are one of the clubs that have been alerted by Lucas Bergvall’s apparent desire to leave Tottenham Hotspur.
Widespread reports have claimed that Bergvall has decided to leave Tottenham this summer and has already informed the club of his decision. The 20-year-old has been one of their more impressive performers in the recent difficult season and should have a long line of suitors.
Milan one of man
According to TransferFeed.com, Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig are two of the teams that are watching Bergvall’s situation closely. They confirm he is looking to leave having had a reduced role under manager Roberto De Zerbi, while the club are searching for other midfielders like Sandro Tonali.
Interest from the continent ‘has intensified in recent weeks’ with the Bundesliga duo joined by Inter, Milan and Napoli in their admiration. Chelsea and Aston Villa have made enquiries, but sources indicate that Bergvall is not currently making a move to another Premier League club a priority.
He would prefer a transfer to mainland Europe but Tottenham have not placed the player on the market and still consider him to be a part of their plans for the future, despite the wishes of the playmaker.
They signed him from Djurgården in July 2024 for a reported €10m. In February 2026, the club was said to have set an asking price of over £57m (€66m) after turning down bids of around £40m (€46m) the previous month.
