Joy turned to despair in the space of six minutes as Crystal Palace ran out 3-1 winners in the Premier League at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Thursday night.

Dominic Solanke provided the finish to Archie Gray's great work down the right to put us 1-0 up with 34 minutes on the clock.

It all changed though on 40 minutes. Micky van de Ven pulled back Ismaïla Sarr as he went through on goal and referee Andrew Madeley pointed to the penalty spot and brandished a red card. Sarr slotted home the penalty and it was suddenly 1-1 and we were down to 10 men.

Palace quickly took advantage of the situation and goals from Jorgen Strand Larsen (45+1) and Sarr's second (45+7) saw the visitors 3-1 up by half-time. That's how it stayed.
