Recent weeks have seen the Italian press come out with confidence about Fabio Paratici returning to Tottenham Hotspur.
The director’s move to AC Milan fell through due to dissenting voices around the club and a whole world of drama, and it seems as if his future will be in London.
Tuttomercatoweb‘s Marco Conterio has reported that the hypothesis of Paratici returning to Tottenham is now ‘increasingly strong’ and it is quite likely to happen soon. A lot of it is because of Daniel Levy’s admiration for the 52-year-old.
The Italian has ‘never left Levy’s thoughts’ even during his FIFA and FIGC-imposed ban and the relationship between the two has always been cordial.
Tottenham’s difficult Premier League season has prompted them to return to Paratici. Even though the move hasn’t been defined yet, the idea is gaining ground and has lingered for quite some time.
The expectation is that Spurs could proceed with their move once Paratici’s ban ends on the 20th of July, after which he can have an active and direct role to play in Spurs recruitment.
Milan are out of the chase now and Tottenham have a clear path ahead.
