Roberto De Zerbi has confirmed that Tosin Adarabioyo is available for Tottenham's trip to Leeds United - but Savio, Lucas Bergvall and Mykhailo Mudryk are still out injured for the north Londoners.

Spurs travel to Elland Road in the Saturday lunchtime kick-off where they will be looking to make it four league wins in a row before the international break.

Tosin has returned to training and could feature this weekend, while Rodrigo Bentancur is back having served his three-match suspension for his red card in the 1-1 draw at Manchester United.

Savio, Bergvall and Mudryk are still out for Spurs, while Xavi Simons is still recovering from his long-term injury. Speaking on Friday, De Zerbi said: "Savio, Bergvall, Mudryk (are unavailable). Tosin is available. Yesterday he joined the group."

Spurs have beaten Coventry, Chelsea and Crystal Palace to climb up the Premier League table but De Zerbi isn't getting carried away.

The boss also credits the 1-1 draw at Manchester United, which came just before the run of three wins, as a crucial part of Spurs' revival this season.

He said: "We have many, many targets but we can’t move our focus game-by-game. We are not good enough yet to change the focus.

"We are building something special, the atmosphere in the dressing room, a clear style of play, the players are playing much better than in the beginning, but we started three weeks ago.

"We are a team. We are a strong team. Before United, we were playing well but not as a team. This makes the biggest difference in football. Now we think as a team, we play as a team, we help each other on the pitch.

"The qualities of players are now showing on the pitch. It is a different mood and different mindset. I am very happy for that, more than the results.

"I think the day before Manchester United, we had a meeting where we spoke, just players and staff, like a family. The players were honest, we spoke about the problems and how we could change this season."

Meanwhile, Tottenham playmaker Xavi has stepped up his recovery from a serious knee injury and is set to return to training at the end of November.

Xavi suffered anterior cruciate ligament damage in April during a 1-0 win at Wolves and missed the final matches of Spurs’ successful battle against relegation last season.

ACL ruptures generally have a recovery time of around nine months, but Netherlands international Xavi has been ahead of schedule throughout his rehabilitation and is in line to feature in first-team training again later this month after the upcoming international break.

That would put him back in contact training only seven months after suffering the injury and raises the possibility of a return to competitive action several weeks before the nine-month mark at the end of January to provide a welcome boost for Tottenham and boss De Zerbi.

De Zerbi spoke in April of a “special connection” with Xavi.

When fully fit again, the £52million signing will provide competition for fellow number 10 James Maddison and aim to build on an up-and-down first campaign in north London in which he scored five goals in 41 appearances.

Xavi produced outstanding performances against the likes of Brentford, Manchester City and Borussia Dortmund but worked under three different head coaches during a difficult season overall for Tottenham.

Maddison only returned from his own ACL injury earlier this year and last month marked his first Spurs start in 536 days with a goal in a 3-1 victory over Coventry.

That triumph sparked a three-match winning run which Spurs will aim to continue against Leeds on Saturday.
