We face Daniel Farke's in-form Whites having hit form ourselves at a crucial time - seven points from our last three games and successive wins on the road against Wolves and Villa have lifted us back out of the Premier League's bottom three.

However, Roberto De Zerbi was quick to point out in his pre-match press conference on Thursday that we are about to face 'one of the best teams in this moment' at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Leeds found themselves 2-0 at half-time at City on 29 November. Farke switched to a three-man defence and Leeds came roaring back, levelling at 2-2 before Phil Foden won it in added time. At that point - MW13 - Leeds were in the bottom three with eight defeats in 13.

Since then - and sticking to that system - Farke has overseen a run of just four defeats in 22, with seven wins and 11 draws, lifting his side clear of trouble up into 14th. That run includes draws against Liverpool home and away, four points against United - Leeds won recently at Old Trafford - and a current run of six unbeaten, winning three of their last four.

Roberto said: “First of all, we play against one of the best teams in this moment, because in the last five, six games they won against Manchester United, they drew in Bournemouth playing well, they won at home two times, Wolves and Burnley, and for that we have a big respect.

"We can't think in a different way. We have to keep this mentality. We must remain humble - nothing changes. We have to prepare for an important game, but the same way we are playing, because we didn't play so well in Wolves, the first 30 minutes we played okay. Against Brighton at home, we played 90 minutes, and extra time, very well. So, we have to stay focused on this type of performance, this type of attitude and this type of spirit, and showing the qualities of the players.”
