A product of our Academy, the 22-year-old forward progressed through our age groups to make his first team debut against Ludogorets in the Europa League in November, 2020, becoming the youngest player to ever feature in a competitive match for the Club. Across all competitions, he made 27 senior appearances in our colours, scoring once.
Having spent time on loan with Portsmouth, Ipswich Town, Oxford United and most recently Scottish side Hibernian, Dane netted his first competitive goal for us in a Europa League fixture against Elfsborg in January, 2025, in a 3-0 win, playing his part in our journey to European success.
Still our youngest player to feature in a European fixture, he made his Premier League debut as a substitute against West Bromwich Albion in February, 2021.
An England Under-21 international, Dane helped the Young Lions win the Under-19 European Championship in 2022. He has five appearances to his name for his country’s Under-21 side and two goals.
