Thomas Frank has revealed that Dominic Solanke will undergo a minor surgical procedure to fix his ankle problem.

The striker hasn’t feature since our 2-0 win at Manchester City in the second game of the season and hasn’t travelled to Norway as we prepare to take on Bodo/Glimt on matchday two in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday (9pm local time, 8pm UK).

Speaking at our pre-match press conference in Bodo on Monday evening, Head Coach Thomas explained the next steps for the England international striker.

“Dom has got that ankle issue that’s been bothering him for a little while so now it’s time to make a minor surgery,” he said.

“It’s a small procedure, so that will mean he’s not ready for (tomorrow). We will have more news about timeframes after the international break but I don’t expect it to be long.”
