Tottenham Hotspur, Aston Villa and AC Milan could battle for Marseille’s Adrien Rabiot this summer, according to claims from France.

The midfielder had an altercation with teammate Jonathan Rowe after their 1-0 defeat to Stade Rennais earlier this month. Marseille have suspended both and put them on the market.

Tottenham and Aston Villa can take advantage of this to try and sign Rabiot before the window closes on Monday.

According to RMC Sport, Spurs, Aston Villa and Milan are all in talks with the 30-year-old’s entourage. The three clubs haven’t made contact with Roberto De Zerbi’s side yet.

L’Equipe covers the Europa League winners and the Serie A club’s interest but makes no mention of Unai Emery’s side.

The French club’s relationship with the player and his entourage is strained to say the least.

Milan manager Massimiliano Allegri previously managed Rabiot at Juventus and is keen on reuniting with him at the San Siro.

Tottenham are also keen, and the newspaper claims they ‘have an advantage’ over the Rossoneri because they have qualified for the Champions League.

L’Equipe reports the north London club could make an offer once they let Yves Bissouma move to Galatasaray, in a one in and out scenario.
