Tottenham Hotspur are continuing in their pursuit of 22-year-old Manchester City winger Savinho this summer.
Spurs also made a move for the Brazil international last season, although it ultimately did not materialise. It led to a spell out of the team for Savinho, and his campaign never really got back on track after that. The forward made just seven league starts last term.
Despite that, Tottenham are still pushing to sign the winger, says Fabrizio Romano. It is believed that the player is open to the move and the deal is progressing well.
Meanwhile, according to AS, City captain Bernardo Silva has agreed terms with Barcelona. The Portugal international will be available as a free agent when his deal expires at the end of the month. The 31-year-old had drawn interest from the likes of Atletico Madrid and Juventus, but the Catalan side are his preference.
Atletico Madrid are also showing interest in fellow City midfielder Tijjani Reijnders, according to The Mail. The Dutchman only arrived at the Etihad last summer. However after a positive start to his maiden City campaign, as the months went on he was utilised less frequently.
Elsewhere, Chelsea have rejected multiple approaches for Josh Acheampong, report The Standard. The 20-year-old defender is very highly-rated, although he has found game time hard to come by at Stamford Bridge. Despite that, new manager Xabi Alonso wants to keep hold of the academy graduate, and he is not for sale this summer.
