Tottenham Hotspur have three players potentially just one game away from being handed a suspension in the Champions League ahead of their showdown with Atletico Madrid.
Spurs are set to face off against the La Liga team in the first leg of their last-16 tie on Tuesday evening as they journey to the Spanish capital.

Igor Tudor will be determined for a dramatic turnaround in fortunes, having overseen three defeats in his initial three matches since assuming the helm at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Tudor's tenure at Tottenham has been surrounded by speculation in recent days following last week's loss to Crystal Palace, but the interim manager will lead the squad for the match against Atletico.

However, Tottenham have three players who are just one booking away from earning a suspension in the Champions League, reports football.london.

In the main phase of the tournament, a player receiving three yellow cards results in a one-match ban in the subsequent game.
At present, Tottenham have Randal Kolo Muani, Joao Palhinha and Richarlison all on two yellow cards throughout the Champions League this season.

Consequently, if any of the trio were to be booked in the first leg against Atletico on Tuesday night, they would be given a suspension and miss the second leg at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium next week.
Spurs have already seen one player banned in the Champions League this campaign, with defender Micky van de Ven accumulating three yellow cards during the league phase of the tournament.
Van de Ven served his ban in the league phase victory over Borussia Dortmund, and was absent for the final fixture against Eintracht Frankfurt due to injury.
