Luka Vušković arrived at Tottenham Hotspur this summer, after Spurs agreed a deal with Hajduk Split in September 2023.
The Premier League club would have planned to send him out on loan this season to enjoy regular playing time. Hamburg have shown interest in him throughout the summer.
On August 12th, Kicker reported they have reached an agreement with the 18-year-old. The German club have been waiting to Tottenham to give the green light to complete this operation.
Two days ago, another report from Kicker explained Hamburg have been in talks with Tottenham the last two weeks. They also stated Spurs chairman Daniel Levy will make a decision soon.
Monday’s edition of Bild reports the defender could well imagine making a switch to the Bundesliga club. There are ongoing discussions between the two clubs and even with the agent.
Despite Saturday’s claim, Bild say the north London club still haven’t decided over letting Vušković join Hamburg. Time is running out and they are waiting to see if there’ll be any developments.
Hamburg want to sign a centre-back and whether that’ll be the Croatia international or another player remains unclear.
