Fulham have rejected a £32m offer from Tottenham Hotspur for Rodrigo Muniz after also knocking back Leeds United, according to a report from BolaVip Brasil, with the West London side demanding a higher fee to part ways with the striker.

The Brazilian forward had a breakthrough spell in the second half of last season and became a key figure in Marco Silva’s squad. Spurs approached Fulham with an official bid to sign him this summer, but the Craven Cottage side turned down the proposal, believing the player is worth more on the market.

The decision has direct consequences for Flamengo, who hold 25% of Muniz’s economic rights. Had the transfer gone through for the reported amount, the Rio de Janeiro club would have pocketed £8m (approximately R$ 59.1m). Now, they will have to wait for further developments in the window.

Muniz is under contract with Fulham until June 2026. However, if no extension is agreed, he will be eligible to sign a pre-contract with another club from January, which could pressure Fulham into a sale before the end of this window.

Earlier in the summer, Leeds United also made an attempt to sign the 23-year-old with a proposal worth £26m plus an additional £6m in bonuses. That offer was also rejected.

Since the start of 2023, Muniz has made 57 Premier League appearances for Fulham, scoring 17 goals and providing two assists, a run that significantly boosted his value and visibility in the European market.

Negotiations remain open, and more approaches are expected in the coming weeks.
