The new reshaped and renamed Subway Players Cup – previously known as Subway Women’s League Cup – will adopt a Swiss-style league format with each side playing three home and three away fixtures, with results ranked in a unified league table.
The top eight positions will progress to the Knockout Phase and play a one-legged tie with teams ranked based on their final league position.
Here’s everything you need to know ahead of our opening game of the league phase…
What time does the match start?
Kick-off is at 7pm UK time.

What happens if the game finishes as a draw?
Although we have a brand-new name and format, the rules regarding a draw in the 90 minutes will follow the same route as previous editions of the competition.
If the game finishes all square in the 90 minutes, no extra-time will be needed, and it will go straight to a penalty shootout.
The winner of the shootout will gain two points while the losing side will be awarded one.
What is the team news?
Martin Ho reported no new injury concerns ahead of the cup clash at Brisbane Road.
Defender Alice Sombath made her debut in Spurs colours at the weekend, coming on as a second half substitute in our win over Crystal Palace, and will be in contention once again for the fixture with West Ham.
Jess Naz and Maite Oroz continue their rehabilitation from an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury. Clare Hunt continues to recover from her injury.
Who is the referee?
Amy Fearn will be officiating the game on Wednesday evening.
She will be assisted by Isabel Chaplin and Matthew Joyce, with Joanne Horwood the fourth official.
What kit colours are the teams wearing?
We’ll be back in our home kit, featuring Lilywhite shirts, navy blue shorts and white socks, with our goalkeeper in pink.
West Ham United will also be in their home strip – claret shirts, blue shorts and blue socks.
Their keeper will be in all-blue.
