Stoke City have been credited with an interest in Tottenham's Will Lankshear who is currently on loan at Oxford United
Stoke City are monitoring Will Lankshear’s progress with Championship rivals Oxford United, according to a report.
SportsBoom claim the Potters are among several second tier clubs watching the Tottenham Hotspur striker as he learns his trade on loan at the Kassam Stadium, first under Gary Rowett and now under Matt Bloomfield.
The report reckons ‘a host’ of Championship outfits are doing likewise and names two, Stoke and Ipswich Town, who are said to be considering the 20-year-old as a summer target.
The story says Stoke are also ‘impressed by Lankshear’s potential’, with their own striking options sure to be on the agenda in the summer.

Lankshear, a target man type centre forward, has scored seven times in 35 times for a club currently in the relegation zone.
It is his second loan to the Championship having also spent time at West Bromwich Albion last season. Lankshear is under contract at Spurs until 2029.
Stoke currently have Divin Mubama on loan from Manchester City but the 21-year-old, who is currently injured, will return to the Etihand in the summer.
Sam Gallagher and Robert Bozenik are also injured, with Mark Robins favouring Lamine Cisse against Oxford last night, instead of January signing Milan Smit.
