Tottenham Hotspur have had some legendary players down the years, including Son Heung-min, but Theo Walcott
Son became a true legend for Tottenham Hotspur last season as he became the first Spurs captain in 17 years to lift a trophy for the club.
The 33-year-old left the Lilywhites over the summer for the United States, having scored 173 goals and produced 101 assists in 454 appearances.
But Theo Walcott says that there was an attacker the club had recently who was actually far better than the former captain.
Theo Walcott picks Gareth Bale ahead of Son Heung-min
Walcott has picked Gareth Bale ahead of Son Heung-min when ranking legendary Premier League attackers.
The former Arsenal winger was blind-ranking Premier League forwards and suggested he would comfortably take Bale over the South Korean.
Walcott also selected Mohamed Salah, David Silva and Eden Hazard ahead of the Tottenham Europa League-winning captain.
After having the chance to re-order his list, Walcott picked Salah number one, Bale number two, Silva number three, Hazard number four and Son in the final spot.
Tottenham sold Son to LAFC over the summer, and the South Korean is now smashing it over in the MLS.
The 33-year-old has eight goals in eight matches for his new club and appears to be loving his football again ahead of next summer’s World Cup.
Gareth Bale and Theo Walcott were roommates at Southampton
Walcott has revealed that he became very close to Bale during their time together at Southampton.
The two youngsters were previously roommates when they were both at the South Coast club, before securing moves to the two North London teams.
“I roomed with Gareth and shared digs with him right up to the day I moved to Arsenal,” Walcott said.
“He was good company, but you were always grateful to him if you got back to your room unscathed when Gareth was around, as he was a bit of a prankster.
“I had to be wary. He would do stunts like putting water on top of your door to try and soak you as you walked in, and silly things like that.”
