Tottenham have already signed Conor Gallagher and Souza this month, but there could be further additions to the squad before the January transfer window shuts

Thomas Frank has confirmed that Tottenham Hotspur remain active in pursuing additional reinforcements before the January transfer window slams shut. Spurs have already secured two new arrivals this month and further business could yet be concluded.

Conor Gallagher completed a £35million switch to Tottenham from Atletico Madrid, whilst Souza has joined this month from Brazilian outfit Santos.

Spurs have also been strongly linked with Liverpool defender Andy Robertson, whose contract at Anfield expires in the summer.

However, despite speculation of a potential £5m transfer being discussed, Liverpool head coach Arne Slot recently insisted that he anticipates Robertson staying on Merseyside, reports the Express.

Despite this position, Frank has confirmed that Tottenham are still planning to enter the market for fresh additions ahead of next Monday's deadline.

The Spurs manager was speaking ahead of the Champions League fixture against Eintracht Frankfurt on Wednesday evening.

"We are 100% in the market," Frank stated in an interview with TNT Sports.

"I think that when let’s say results are not top and you get injuries, that’s where you can feel you are being pressured to take decisions that you maybe don’t want to take for the future.

"But we need to make good assessments, good analysis, where we are making good decisions that can help us get short-term success, optimise that, but also be very good for the long-term."

Tottenham have also been linked with some potential departures this month, with Randal Kolo Muani possibly leaving north London.

Reports on Tuesday suggested that Spurs were mulling over allowing Kolo Muani to return to his parent club, Paris Saint-Germain, and end his loan spell at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Consequently, there has been talk about whether or not Tottenham could enter the market for attacking reinforcements, with Manchester City star Omar Marmoush tentatively linked as a potential target.

Spurs head into the clash against Frankfurt on Wednesday evening in fifth place in the Champions League standings and on the brink of securing a spot in the last-16 stage, which would also see them bypass the play-off round.

A top-eight finish would be required to automatically qualify for the last-16 stage, with Tottenham currently on 14 points and one ahead of Newcastle United, PSG, Chelsea, Barcelona, Sporting Lisbon, Manchester City, Atletico Madrid and Atalanta, whilst Inter Milan and Juventus are just two points behind Spurs.
