Thomas Frank is holding his latest press conference on Monday afternoon as Tottenham prepare to welcome Newcastle in the Premier League.

Spurs' unbeaten four game streak came to an end on Saturday at Old Trafford with a 2-0 defeat to Michael Carrick's Manchester United side after playing for more than an hour with only 10 men after captain Cristian Romero's sixth red card since arriving in the Premier League.

The Argentine will miss the next four matches through suspension and the skipper's absence comes at a time when Tottenham are just six points above 18th-placed West Ham and have won just two of their past 16 Premier League matches. Frank also must contend with a lengthy injury list that was added to by Destiny Udogie on Saturday afternoon.

Frank will deliver the latest news on the Italian and is also likely to be asked for his reaction to former Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino reiterating his desire yet again to return to the club one day, while stating that the Europa League trophy is not enough for a club like Tottenham.

Our Spurs correspondent Alasdair Gold is among those putting the questions to Frank ahead of the game against Eddie Howe's side. Scroll down for his latest updates from the press conference at Hotspur Way.
