Tottenham Hotspur have three key players who could be involved in a swap deal with Manchester City for Omar Marmoush. Spurs are among several clubs reportedly interested in the Egyptian forward.
Marmoush has found regular playing time hard to come by at City, and his chances of breaking into the starting XI could be further reduced following the signing of Antoine Semenyo from Bournemouth. This has led to speculation linking him with moves to Aston Villa, Fenerbahce and Tottenham. According to Turkish outlet Sabah, Marmoush would prefer to stay in the Premier League, giving Villa and Spurs an advantage in any potential transfer negotiations.

The arrival of Tammy Abraham at Villa Park could further enhance Thomas Frank's chances of landing Marmoush. The club may even consider offering a cash-plus-player deal to secure his services before Monday's transfer deadline. Here, Express Football has identified three Spurs players who could potentially make the switch to Manchester.
Micky van de Ven
Micky van de Ven has been attracting attention from several Premier League clubs recently. Liverpool have previously been linked with the defender, and Spurs boss Frank has admitted that securing a new contract for him has become a priority.

However, despite being considered a "very important" player, the club might contemplate sending him to Manchester to strengthen their attacking options. At present, Dominic Solanke remains the club's sole fit striker, with Richarlison sidelined through injury.

Frank may choose to prioritise bolstering the attack rather than securing defensive stars. Van de Ven is a doubt for Spurs' Sunday afternoon fixture against City after a "minor" injury concern ruled him out of the Champions League encounter with Eintracht Frankfurt.
Radu Dragusin
Since recovering from a cruciate ligament injury in December, Radu Dragusin has featured for just six minutes in Premier League action for Spurs. The Romanian centre-back appeared briefly in the closing stages of December's victory over Crystal Palace and January's draw with Burnley.

Italian outfit Roma have been reported to be interested in the 23-year-old, with initial proposals suggesting a loan until the season's end. Dragusin's agent, Florin Manea, told Tele Radio Stereo that he was working to finalise the transfer, though nothing has come to fruition.
Speaking earlier in January, Manea said: "The decisive days will be between today and tomorrow. I'd like to avoid talking, but we hope to reach a conclusion in the negotiations with Roma."

Spurs may consider using the unsettled defender as a bargaining chip with City in negotiations for Marmoush, particularly given the club's shortage of options at centre-back.

Kevin Danso
Considering City's defensive difficulties, Kevin Danso could be a potential candidate for Spurs to discuss with City as part of a swap arrangement for Marmoush. The 27-year-old initially arrived on loan last season before making his move permanent in the summer, putting pen to paper on a five-year deal in north London.

Renowned for his combative approach and capability to operate a high defensive line, Danso could prove an ideal fit for City even on a short-term basis.
The defender was poised to join Wolves in January 2025, but Spurs swooped in to secure the deal and bolster their defensive options. The Austria international appears content at the club, though with City mounting a title challenge, the lure of silverware could prove difficult to resist.
