Tottenham changes

Following some positive injury news recently with players returning from long layoffs, Ange Postecoglou has some big calls to make in regards to his Tottenham team.

So what changes could he possibly consider against AZ Alkmaar this evening?

football.london takes a look right here.

Round of 16 state of play

It's all to play for this evening as the remaining 16 teams in the Europa League look to secure their place in the quarter-finals of the competition.

Tottenham are one of the sides with a lot of work to do after their 1-0 defeat against AZ Alkmaar last Thursday.

However, Athletic Club, who are also one of the favourites to win the competition, were also on the losing side seven days ago after falling to a 2-1 defeat at Roma.

Here are the results from the first leg ties ahead of this evening's deciding fixtures:

AZ 1-0 Tottenham

FCSB 1-3 Olympique Lyonnais

Fenerbahce 1-3 Rangers

Real Sociedad 1-1 Manchester United

Ajax 1-2 Eintracht Frankfurt

Bodo/Glimt 3-0 Olympiacos

Roma 2-1 Athletic Club

Viktoria Plzen 1-2 Lazio

Predicted team

All eyes are going to be on Ange Postecoglou's Tottenham team selection this evening given the importance of the game.

The Spurs boss has huge calls to make at full-back, centre-back, midfield and in his front three as Spurs look to bounce back from their 1-0 defeat at AFAS Stadion one week ago.

Tottenham correspondent Alasdair Gold has picked his starting XI right here.
