Tottenham Hotspur are looking to strengthen Roberto De Zerbi's squad further with moves for Omar Marmoush and Savinho from Man City
Tottenham Hotspur have reached a verbal agreement with Manchester City to sign Omar Marmoush, less than 24 hours after agreeing a deal with Enzo Maresca's side to sign winger Savinho.
Roberto De Zerbi's side are closing in on double swoop for the Man City stars, with Marmoush set to travel to north London and complete a medical tomorrow, Monday, August 24.
Fabrizio Romano claims Spurs have agreed an initial loan deal with City, with an obligation to buy the Egyptian forward, if certain conditions are met. Spurs will pay City £50m if those terms are met over the course of the campaign, something City have verbally agreed to.
The club are looking for further reinforcements, having already spent big this summer, signing Sandro Tonali, Mateus Fernandes and Jan Paul van Hecke for big fees, while Marcos Senesi, Martin Dubravka and Andy Robertson have joined on free transfers.
However, their need for more firepower was clear in the 3-0 defeat to Brentford, who made light work of Spurs in the Premier League opener.

The arrivals of Savinho and Marmoush will take Spurs' spending beyond the £300million threshold this summer, with all eyes on what the club will do in the final days of the window.
Speaking after the defeat to the Bees, De Zerbi said: "For many reasons I think we are not a team yet. We are not at the right point in physical condition.
"But no excuse. When you are building a new project I don’t want time, but we have to pass through these problems.
"I believe in my players, my club and myself. I think we are working well but we are late for the start of the Premier League. It’s a step we have to improve quickly.
"We could fight stronger than we did today and we lost too many duels. The target is to become a team. To find the spirit, the soul, is a process."
The Spurs boss was asked about the potential arrivals of the City duo leading up to the clash with Brentford and made it clear that his side were not finished in the transfer market.
"It's not right to speak about the players until they are official," De Zerbi said. "Just to say, I'm very happy. We have not finished yet in the transfer market.
"It's an important part, I think, because so far we have had a great summer of signings - great players, great behaviour, great spirit, great personality."
