All at Tottenham will be hoping that brighter days are ahead after an incredibly frustrating 2024/25 campaign. Going into the season wanting to improve on their fifth-place finish the previous term and move closer to the likes of Manchester City and Arsenal at the summit of the league, Spurs unfortunately find themselves 14th with nine games remaining.
A top-half finish looks set to be an uphill battle considering they trail Bournemouth in 10th by 10 points, but Ange Postecoglou's side can finish the season on a high by winning the Europa League in Bilbao at the end of May. That will not be straightforward and first up they have to negotiate a quarter-final tie against Eintracht Frankfurt to make the final four.
One rare positive Tottenham fans can cling on to from this season is the performances of their youngsters. At a time when senior players maybe haven't stepped up to the mark and produced consistent displays week in, week out, that cannot be said about Lucas Bergvall and Archie Gray.
Regular game time in an incredibly tough period has only enhanced their game to another level and now they look right at home in the Premier League despite their tender years. Gray and Bergvall are not the only eye-catching teenagers at Tottenham as the club also possess some exciting talents that point to a very bright future in N17.
Mikey Moore has featured in 16 first-team games for Spurs this campaign after making his senior debut at the end of last season. The 17-year-old has found it tough on a few occasions when he has started in the Premier League, which is totally understandable given his age, but his dazzling showing at home to AZ Alkmaar back in October highlights what a special player Tottenham have on their hands.
Moore may have competition from Yang Min-hyeok for a place on the wing in the years ahead if he is to establish himself as a Tottenham regular. Linking up with the club in January after moving from Gangwon FC in South Korea, the winger is now plying his trade for QPR in the Championship after joining them on loan during the winter market.
The 18-year-old has been in and out of the QPR XI since making the move across the capital but he has displayed in his game time that he is a very talented player. Another youngster who could well go on to make his Tottenham debut during the 2025/26 campaign is Luka Vuskovic.
Spurs moved early to strike a deal with Hajduk Split for the centre-back in September 2023 when he was only 16. Not able to join Tottenham until the age of 18, the Croat will link up with Spurs this summer almost two years on from the initial agreement between both clubs.
Vuskovic has already built up a large amount of first-team experience over the past two seasons and he has made quite the impression in Belgium for Westerlo this term. Not only has he wowed at the back with his defensive displays, his eye for a goal and incredible aerial ability has been there for all to see after contributing seven goals from his centre-back berth.
Vuskovic is seen as one of the brightest young talents coming through in the game and he could well become a permanent member of Tottenham's backline for years to come. Not only are Gray, Bergvall, Moore, Yang and Vuskovic highly thought of at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium but many across the globe know just how good they are.
The quintet all feature in Goal's NXGN list of the top 50 best teenage wonderkids in the world in 2025. Perhaps unsurprisingly it is Barcelona's Lamine Yamal who tops the list, with future Chelsea player Estevao Willian and Barcelona's Pau Cubarsi completing the top three.
Gray ranks highest in the top 50 from a Tottenham perspective as he comes in at 13, with Bergvall not too far behind at 17. Moore is then placed at 22, Vuskovic No.26 and Yang No.43.
Amid links with Southampton ace Tyler Dibling, Tottenham could have six players in the top 50 if they are to move for the winger in the summer and lure him to the capital. Dibling is 23rd on the list, one place behind Spurs starlet Moore.
Everyone connected with Tottenham are desperate for the club to be successful in the here and now, which fingers crossed will be the case at the end of May as Postecoglou looks to end their trophy drought for good. If Tottenham can get things right on the pitch then they appear to have a very exciting future ahead of them with Gray, Bergvall, Moore, Vuskovic and Yang at the heart of a team who can hopefully compete for years to come.
