Micky van de Ven has been appointed as Tottenham Hotspur's new club captain by manager Roberto De Zerbi.
The Dutch defender takes over the armband from Cristian Romero following his transfer to Atletico Madrid.
Van de Ven forms part of a new five-player leadership group alongside Pedro Porro, Ben Davies, James Maddison and Archie Gray.
Romero published a heartfelt farewell message to Spurs fans last week after concluding his five-year stay at the north London club.
