Tottenham Hotspur are mostly focused on the players they are going to sign to reenforce the squad for the 2025/26 Premier League and Champions League seasons, as the club won the Europa League to qualify for next season's Champions League but could get overrun if they don't improve a side that could only muster a 17th-placed finish in league play.

Spurs are after the likes of Bryan Mbeumo, Yoane Wissa, Eberechi Eze, and Xavi Simons to help drastically transform a midfield and attack that weren't up to the standard of the top five teams in the Premier League last season.

But they are also keeping an eye out on rival clubs in the Champions League who are trying to poach their best players. Already, Real Madrid have been linked with future interest in center midfielder Lucas Bergvall, who has the makings of a world-class player after a strong inaugural season in Tottenham.

Tottenham could sell one youngster for over 50 million pounds

It looks like Madrid aren't the only ones with designs on the phenomenal Swede. According to a report from Swedish outlet Fotboll Direkt's Ola Gustavsson, top clubs around European football are calling the phones for Bergvall and are willing to pay Tottenham a whopping 54 million pounds for him. But Tottenham fans will feel relieved by the other part of the report which states that neither Spurs nor Bergvall himself are interested in a move.

Although Bergvall, like Cristian Romero and other top stars at Tottenham, is likely very bummed out by the club's decision to part ways with manager Ange Postecoglou, he is clearly enjoying his time at Tottenham and has a lot of growing to do at the club.

Bergvall already chose Spurs over Barcelona last winter, and everything he's done since then with Spurs has been a success. Even though he was injured and didn't play in the Europa League Final against Manchester United, there is no doubt that the 19-year-old box-to-box midfield maven played a role in helping Spurs get to that point.

Tottenham would be wise to keep Bergvall for as long as is humanly possible, since he's the kind of player and character whom you need to build your team around. Bergvall can be the star of a new era of Tottenham football under Frank, and if he's already generating offers over 50 million pounds from top clubs after one season, then you can only imagine how valuable he'll be in world football in five years time.
