Tottenham have lined up Fulham forward as an alternative target to Manchester City’s Savinho.

Tottenham Hotspur’s need for attacking reinvention is clear. They need dynamism with intent, pace and smartness that is well-suited to the Premier League.

Spurs have revived their interest in Manchester City winger Savinho, as head coach Roberto De Zerbi looks to reshape his squad ahead of the new campaign. The Brazilian international was denied a move to Tottenham last summer by former Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola. After an underwhelming season, the Sky Blues are now considered more willing to discuss a deal for the diminutive winger.

Savinho has retained his desire to join Tottenham, even though the Lilywhites narrowly escaped relegation. Recent reports have emerged that suggest talks over a deal to sign the 22-year-old from Man City are progressing. However, the financial side of any agreement could still prove complicated.

It has been widely reported that the Sky Blues have set a £60m valuation on Savinho, £10m less than what Tottenham were willing to pay last summer. Tottenham believe the Brazilian wide attacker wants the move to the capital, but at the same time, the club bosses have also been keeping tabs on other options.

Tottenham interested in Fulham star Harry Wilson

According to reliable Spurs insider Paul O’Keefe on X, Fulham’s soon-to-be free agent Harry Wilson is being considered by Tottenham.

Harry Wilson enjoyed a strong 2025/26 campaign at Craven Cottage, netting 10 goals and supplying seven assists in 36 Premier League appearances. The Wales international was Fulham’s top scorer and their main man in the final third of the pitch. The 29-year-old’s potential has been obvious for a long time, going back to his academy days at Liverpool, but he managed to add more consistency and output to his game this past season.

Thus, Tottenham’s interest in Wilson does not raise eyebrows. The Fulham attacker has built his reputation around dribbling, movement, direct running and the ability to disturb settled defensive units. For De Zerbi, that profile makes obvious sense.

Wilson is a good alternative to Savinho

While Savinho appears to be the primary wing target, Tottenham are clearly evaluating alternative targets should negotiations with City get tough. Wilson’s inclusion in the list is quite interesting, given his top-flight experience, know-how and proven numbers. He can pass, cross and certainly shoot, as the 29-year-old has demonstrated several times for the Cottagers this past season.

He has performed very well for Fulham in recent years, and now at the peak of his powers, the Welshman is seeking one final big payday in his career. Wilson may be seven years older than Savinho, but the kind of productivity, versatility and creativity he could offer would make him an upgrade to any of the current attackers on Tottenham’s roster.
