Tottenham ‘blame game going on internally’ as ‘difficult’ managerial decision looms
Tottenham Hotspur’s decision makers at the top of the club need to prove their worth in their next managerial decision.
That is according to ex-Everton, Aston Villa, and Aberdeen chief executive Keith Wyness, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, who believes Spurs are a “very unhappy” club right now.
Chief executive Vinai Venkatesham has recently slammed the running of Spurs under Daniel Levy to the club’s Fan Advisory Board.
Meanwhile, there is pressure on sporting director Johan Lange’s role at the club due to managerial decisions and recruitment in the summer and January transfer windows.
Interim boss Igor Tudor is expected to be sacked by Spurs, leaving the club searching for their third manager of the season in the midst of a fight to remain in the Premier League.

Tottenham face ‘issues’ from Daniel Levy tenure
Everton’s former chief Keith Wyness – who served as CEO at Goodison Park between 2004 and 2009 and now runs a football consultancy advising elite clubs – believes there are “a lot of questions” that still need to be answered from Levy’s time in north London.
Speaking on the new edition of Football Insider‘s Inside Track podcast, Wyness thinks there could be a “blame game” going on behind the scenes.
He told Football Insider‘s Inside Track podcast: “Look, Vinai at the top seems to be the one that’s being left to make the decisions.
“And I think that there could well be a blame game that’s going on internally. So it’s not happy at the top. Obviously, it seems to be very unhappy.
“There are lots of issues around still from the Daniel Levy tenure and what really went on there. A lot of things, a lot of questions, and it’s a very unhappy environment.
“This would just compound it beyond belief if they had to face that battle [relegation]. So, yes, the new manager is going to be a key component, and it’s a difficult decision, and they’ve got to step up to the plate and tackle that one head on.”

Wyness also told Football Insider that Spurs could settle on Sean Dyche to become their next manager in a bid to save them from Premier League relegation.
Spurs have also been linked with Roberto De Zerbi and Adi Hutter, with top target Mauricio Pochettino not currently available.
Dyche has vast Premier League experience, and is currently available for work having been sacked by Nottingham Forest in February.
