The latest Premier League transfer news including stories on Liverpool, Tottenham, Arsenal and more
The 2026/27 Premier League season is back with a bang, following a three-week international break in which England kicked off their Nations League campaign with three wins from four matches. This weekend, Arsenal set the tone, battling to a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Leeds United at the Emirates Stadium.
On Sunday, Crystal Palace host Nottingham Forest at Selhurst Park and Everton travel to take on Hull City. These matches will serve as an ideal warm-up for the headline fixture: Man City’s first game since they were found guilty of the vast majority of the 150 charges levelled against them by the Premier League, which will be a testing trip to face Liverpool at Anfield.

Our first story of today’s transfer rumours round-up takes us to Bavaria, where Harry Kane has returned to join up with Bayern Munich after another exceptional series of displays for England. Over the summer, the Three Lions legend was linked with a move to Man United, amid a slowing in progress over a contract extension with the Bundesliga giants.
However, according to ESPN, any hopes of a Premier League return now look to have been dashed, with Bayern Munich sporting director Christoph Freund revealing his confidence that despite the delay, the deal will get done. Kane himself has hinted that the agreement is close, as he looks to continue his exceptional career in the German top tier.
The 3AM Verdict: While having Kane back in the Premier League would be great for the division, it perhaps wouldn’t be so good for the player or his country. The Bundesliga gifts Kane a winter break to recuperate and the league simply isn’t as gruelling as the English top tier. For the sake of England’s Euro 2028 chances, Man United will have to miss out.
Arsenal battle Liverpool for Serie A wonderkid
Over in Italy, Roma defender Emanuele Lulli looks to have sparked some serious interest from a host of elite Premier League sides. According to Team Talk, scouts from Arsenal, Tottenham and Liverpool are “urging” their respective clubs to sign the 19-year-old right-back, who has been lighting up Serie A with his direct attacking play from deep.
Chelsea, Man City and Manchester United are also thought to be in the mix, although their interest doesn’t look to be advanced as their Premier League rivals. It’s said that despite the apparent flurry of interest, Roma have no interest in selling the Italy U21 international, and will look to tie him down to a new contract in the near future.
The 3AM Verdict: Lulli is clearly a talented young player, and Liverpool in particular could do with another right-back on the books. However, they really need a more reliable starter, rather than a prospect for the future. Arsenal are well stocked in this position, but he could certainly do a job at Spurs amid Pedro Porro’s injury problems.
Spurs could miss out on key target
We’ll finish today’s jet-setting rumours round-up in Spain, where Real Madrid’s Endrick looks set to leave on loan in January despite the club refusing to sanction a move over the summer. This news was said to have prompted excitement from Tottenham, who were heavily linked with the Brazil international over the summer, but it appears that they may be out of luck.
Italian outlet Gazzetto Dello Sport report that AC Milan are the firm favourites to sign him in January, with the player keen to test his mettle in Serie A. It’s also suggested that there could be an option-to-buy clause in the deal - albeit with a buy-back clause that would significantly reduce Real Madrid’s risk in selling a highly promising young talent.
The 3AM Verdict: Endrick looked brilliant on loan at Lyon in the second half of last season, and Spurs could really do with an exciting player of his calibre to add some firepower to their attacking line. It’s worth noting that we’re still only in October, so who knows where he’ll end up - by January, he might have broken into the Real Madrid side, making all speculation now a little pointless.
