Tottenham Hotspur have been splashing the cash in this summer's transfer window, but now it appears some funds will be coming the other way
Fulham have been linked with a move for former Tottenham Hotspur forward Troy Parrott. The Spurs academy graduate is currently playing for Dutch side AZ Alkmaar.
He moved to the Eredivisie in the 2024 summer transfer window in a £6.7million transfer. He has since become a fan favourite at the AFAS Stadion, where he has helped himself to 51 goals and 17 assists in 95 appearances.
His impressive numbers are garnering attention on our shores and it's been claimed Fulham are considering making a big offer for the Irish international.
While he is no longer a Spurs player, Roberto De Zerbi's side will be able to score a transfer bonus from him, thanks to a transfer clause in his deal with Alkmaar.

TalkSPORT have claimed Fulham are among a host of clubs who are linked with Parrott, who is understood to be valued at around £25m. It's understood five clubs - Fulham, Ajax, PSV Eindhoven, Real Betis and Como - are all pondering a move.
This will be music to Tottenham's ears, as they have a 20 per cent sell-on clause in his deal. If AZ sell him for £25m, Tottenham will be able to scoop up £5m from the deal.
Considering the huge sums of money which have been spent by the club this season, any transfer boost would be well received this summer. They have already forked out £230m in transfer fees already.
Mateus Fernandes, Sandro Tonali, Jan Paul van Hecke, Andrew Robertson and Marco Senesi have all arrived from West Ham, Newcastle United, Brighton and Hove Albion, Liverpool and Bournemouth respectively.
They are also believed to be in the hunt for more forward to bolster their front-line, with Cody Gakpo of Liverpool being mentioned as a target, as has Manchester United's wantaway forward Marcus Rashford.
De Zerbi himself also insisted the spending has not stopped by suggesting more big signings are on their way to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
He said to football.london: "I said we have to complete the transfer market. I think we have some other players to complete the squad, and the players will be here in the next few days are for me, top players.
"I don't know if the expectation are bigger than two days ago, but we have to go forward and to think to the good of the the team of the club, of the the squad, But in Italian it's a different word."
The Italian also caused more excitement when he said "two, maybe three" more signings are on their way to the capital.
