Tottenham are far from done when it comes to spending in the summer transfer window
Tottenham's summer expenditure currently sits at £237 million, and it looks like that figure could still rise significantly before the end of the summer transfer window. The north London club have backed manager Roberto De Zerbi to the hilt after he led them to Premier League safety last season.
Despite the exciting arrivals of Sandro Tonali, Mateus Fernandes, Martin Dubravka, John Paul van Hecke, Andy Robertson and Marcos Senesi, the Italian isn't satisfied, and has promised that there's more work to be completed as the new season inches closer. "I think we're working well. Now let's continue: we still have 10 days before the start of the Premier League," De Zerbi told Sky Sports Italia, in quotes published on GianlucaMarzio.com.
"We're trying to integrate the incoming players as best we can and complete the squad, because we still have some work to do on the market." One new incoming could be Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen. Spurs have been linked with a move for the Nigeria international, who is reportedly valued at £55million, according to skysport.ch.
In the event of Osimhen's possible arrival, the 27-year-old could be flanked by two fellow new signings, with De Zerbi's focus now on transforming his attack. Here, football.london examines Tottenham's dream line-up for the 26/27 season...
Goalkeepers
Antonin Kinsky looks set to pick up where he left off last season as Spurs' first-choice goalkeeper. Guglielmo Vicario is keen to leave north London, with the club yet to find a buyer for the Italian stopper.
The Czech international will have competition in Martin Dubravka, who joined Spurs on a free transfer from Burnley. However, Kinsky inked a new deal at the end of the season after playing a major role in the club maintaining its Premier League status and has the confidence of De Zerbi to continue being the man between the sticks.
Defence
A considerable amount of Spurs' transfer business this season has been about improving their backline. The Lilywhites conceded 57 league goals last season, with only the teams below them in the table, West Ham, Burnley and Wolves, conceding more.
Therefore, De Zerbi's first priority was obvious, and the club have forked out £52million on Jan Paul van Hecke and shrewdly secured Robertson and Senesi for free. Key star Micky van de Ven signed a new contract and will have a new partner in defence, following Cristian Romero's impending departure to Atletico Madrid.

Van Hecke may be the man to partner his international team-mate on opening day, although he'll certainly face a fight from Senesi, who enjoyed an impressive campaign with Bournemouth last season.
Spurs are set at right-back with Spanish World Cup winner Pedro Porro, but with Djed Spence nearing a move to Inter Milan, there'll be a battle for the left-back berth between veteran Robertson and Destiny Udogie, as De Zerbi could opt for the vast experience the Scotsman possesses.
Midfield
Like their defence, Spurs have focused a significant amount of planning - and investment - on their midfield. The club broke their transfer record twice with the signings of Mateus Fernandes (£85m) and Sandro Tonali (£100m) last month.
The duo will no doubt be key pillars of De Zerbi's team for years to come, with the likes of Conor Gallagher, Pape Matar Sarr and Rodrigo Bentacur providing valuable depth in the engine room.
Spurs are also well-stocked in the attacking midfield position ahead of the new signings. In a perfect world, it'd be Xavi Simons taking on that role, but the Dutchman is still recovering from an ACL injury.
That could pave the way for James Maddison to regain his position as Spurs' main source of creativity during the early part of the season. The Englishman hasn't featured in pre-season thus far, but could return to action against Hoffenheim on Saturday or Sunday.
Attack
Yet to address their lacklustre attack this summer, De Zerbi could be introducing a trio of new arrivals to the starting line-up. Should Spurs finally clinch the signing of Manchester City star Savinho, the Brazil international - who could be worth £60m - will find a home on the right wing, leaving Dejan Kulusevski and Mohammed Kudus as back-ups.
De Zerbi could look to another top-flight rival to bolster his attacking options further, with Liverpool winger Cody Gakpo another key target for the Italian. The Dutchman's goals and physicality in the final third of the pitch would be two huge advantages for the club, who'll reportedly have to part ways with £60m to secure the forward.
This is the big one. Richarlison and Dominic Solanke have yet to prove they can lead the line for the club, which could see De Zerbi bring in a proven goalscorer like Osimhen. The 27-year-old is an established commodity in France, Italy and Turkey and has so far scored a staggering 173 goals in 297 games across his career to date.
