Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing the Spanish striker Samu Aghehowa.
The 21-year-old has been excellent since he moved to Portugal, and he scored 27 goals last season. Aghehowa has been in spectacular form this season as well, finding the back of the net 18 times in all competitions. He has the ability to compete at the highest level, and moving to the Premier League would be ideal for him.
Spurs need a reliable finisher who can find the back of the net regularly. The 21-year-old could solve their goal-scoring problems. He is young enough to improve further, and he is already performing at a high-level. He could develop into a top-class player with the right guidance.
Tottenham will look to fight for major trophies, and they will look to compete in the UEFA Champions League next season. They need to improve during the second half of the season if they want to secure their place in the top four. Signing the right players in January could prove to be crucial for them.
Signing a quality striker should be one of their priorities over the next few weeks. However, a move for the Porto striker is highly unlikely next month. The Portuguese outfit is not keen on selling him in the middle of the season. As per Fichajes, any move will have to wait until the summer transfer window.
The striker is valued at €100 million, and it will be interesting to see if Tottenham are prepared to pay up for him at the end of the season. They have reportedly prepared a €200 million transfer plan to improve the team.
Apart from our quality striker, they should look to invest in a reliable wide player as well.
