Cristiano Romero seems to have the backing of the Tottenham fanbase following his public outburst at the club's board
Tottenham supporters inside Old Trafford made their feelings clear on Cristian Romero and the board just minutes into the Premier League clash against Manchester United.
Spurs' hierarchy have come under fire from supporters for a lack of activity in the January transfer window after numerous injury blows. Club captain Romero blasted the situation as "disgraceful but true" in a recent Instagram post.
With that becoming a trending topic for Tottenham, those at the game against United made their feelings known on both aspects.

As picked up on TNT Sports, they sang: "Romero was right, the board are s****." Romero was not high in the estimations of supporters just moments later when he was shown a straight red card after catching Casemiro late with his studs up.
It is the second time he has been sent off this season and as such, he will serve a four-game ban which makes him unavailable to face Newcastle United, Arsenal, Fulham and Crystal Palace.
Last weekend, Romero criticised those in the boardroom with his latest message made after the draw against Manchester City, a game he could not continue in due to illness.
His full message read: "Great effort from all my teammates yesterday ,they were incredible.
"I wanted to be available to help them even though I wasn’t feeling well, especially since we only had 11 players available — unbelievable but true and disgraceful [face palm emoji].
"We’ll keep showing up and taking responsibility to turn this around, working hard and staying together. All that’s left is to thank all of you for being there and for always supporting us ,the fans [two white heart emojis]."
In his pre-match press conference, Thomas Frank revealed the matter was dealt with internally. He later said: "If you want to know what he meant, you of course need to ask him. That’s the right way to take that question.
"Cuti is a very passionate character and player who wants to leave everything on the pitch and is very ambitious. He wants to win every single time.
"Sometimes when you are like that, sometimes there can be an outburst. It happened this time and it’s something we of course dealt with and dealt with internally."
He also confirmed ahead of the game that he had no doubts about not starting him. Micky van de Ven was also back alongside Romero after two games out with injury while Wilson Odobert and Pape Matar Sarr were also in the starting XI.
Romero's future at the club has since been called into question with transfer links for the summer already emerging. Atletico Madrid have placed the World Cup winner back on their radar even after signing a different centre-back last summer.
When asked if he will still be at the club next season, Frank said: "That’s a question I have no idea about. Right now he is the captain, he has a long-term contract and we signed a new contract with him."
