In a recent report, Record revealed that Tottenham Hotspur are hoping to land Sporting CP attacker Francisco Trincao. It has been mentioned that Spurs are eyeing a move to secure the services of the Portuguese talent later this year.
Trincao’s Impressive Form In North London
Trincao enjoyed a good run of form at the Portuguese club as he put in a run of impressive displays for them in the final third. The 26-year-old found the back of the net 13 times and earned 18 assists in 54 matches for Sporting last season on all fronts.
The Portuguese sensation is among the best playmakers in Liga Portugal. Hence, Spurs would do well to get him on board this off-season.
His current contract at the Portuguese club will run out in the summer of 2030, which could make it tough for Tottenham to sign him on the cheap later this year.
