In a recent report, Fichajes stated that Tottenham Hotspur are showing interest in Bournemouth defender Marcos Senesi. It has been mentioned that Spurs are eyeing a move to bring the Argentine centre-back to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this summer.

Senesi’s Impressive Form In English Football

Senesi has enjoyed a solid campaign at the English club after he put in a series of impressive displays for them on the defensive end of the field. The 29-year-old has made 37 appearances for Bournemouth this season, securing five assists in the process across all competitions. However, he is yet to open his goal-scoring account for this campaign.

The Argentine talent is currently one of the best centre-backs in the Premier League. Hence, it is no surprise that Spurs are in the running to land him in this upcoming transfer window.

His current contract at the Vitality Stadium will run out at the end of this campaign, which could open the door for Tottenham to sign him on a free transfer this summer.

What Will Senesi Bring To Tottenham Hotspur?

Senesi loves a tackle and can sense the danger well to secure the ball back for his team inside his half. He doesn’t mind putting his foot through the ball when the opposition are on the front foot and excels at playing his way out from the back.

Standing at 1.84m, the Argentine sensation can be quite competitive in the air. He has got a wealth of experience in the Premier League and won’t take much time to adjust to life at Tottenham if they can devise a way to get a deal done for him at the end of this season.

We can expect Senesi to bring more bite and steel to Spurs boss Roberto De Zerbi’s backline. He has what it takes to fight for a regular first-team spot at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the long run.

At 29, Senesi is playing in his prime, which makes him a decent choice for the North London club to pursue later this year. Furthermore, he is on an expiring contract, so he would serve as an affordable option for the North London club to pursue in this summer transfer window.
