Tottenham’s Bryan Gil spent last season on loan at Girona and is once again underway to find a new club for the winger.
Corriere dello Sport report that with Bologna looking for a replacement for Dan Ndoye, they have been offered the chance to sign Gil in the ‘last few hours’
The Tottenham player’s agent has put forward the 24-year-old’s name to Bologna’s technical staff in the hope of tempting them, amidst confusion about whether Spurs have renewed his contract or not.
The newspaper report that while the Spaniard’s current deal runs out in the summer of 2026, some sources believe that it has been extended for a season. Without an extension another loan looks impossible and it’s unlikely Bologna would go for a permanent transfer.
Rossoblu sporting director Giovanni Sartori prefers to watch players before signing them, and this could be difficult with Gil. He hasn’t appeared in any pre-season matches for Tottenham so far, with the next chance being against Bayern Munich on Thursday.
Gil is questionable for that, given he’s still thought to be recovering from a ligament injury.
