Tottenham Hotspur hosts West Ham United in a London derby on Saturday, with both sides needing a win for different reasons.

Thomas Frank's side are without a win in their last four matches in all competitions following their 2-1 defeat to Aston Villa in the FA Cup. However, the home side has lost only once in their last four league games but has also failed to keep a clean sheet in each of their previous three games, which could create opportunities for West Ham United in terms of shots and creativity. Tottenham's inconsistency has been reflected in their league form, with seven wins, six draws, and eight losses in 21 matches. The main positive for Tottenham Hotspur is that they have been unbeaten in their last four meetings with West Ham United, as they face a West Ham United in disarray in the Premier League.

West Ham United were forced into extra time against Queens Park Rangers in the FA Cup Third Round but managed a 2-1 victory. Whilst that might provide a confidence boost for the Irons, their league form has been abysmal as they continue to slip down the table. The Hammers have not recorded a league victory since the start of November, having lost five of their last six league games and conceded at least two goals in four of those defeats. The away side are heading into this game with no clean sheets in their previous 19 matches.

This game will arguably be tense in terms of atmosphere, with both sides under pressure to secure a win but with West Ham United's persistent defensive problems, we are leaning towards a Tottenham win here to lift some of the pressure from Thomas Frank.
