Tottenham Hotspur have as many as seven players unavailable for their first match of the Premier League season against Burnley.
It has been a bruising pre-season for Spurs, with several squad members sustaining injuries while preparing for this campaign. However, their issues are easing, with Dominic Solanke returning as a substitute in the UEFA Super Cup defeat to Paris Saint-Germain and they also appear to have come through that game unscathed.
Head coach Thomas Frank has since provided an update during his pre-match press conference. Below is a round-up of the latest information available about the situations of several players:
Bryan Gil

What has happened: Gil had surgery on his injury towards the end of last season and continue his rehabilitation.

Frank has said: "I don't like to put a timeline on it [but] put it this way: he's not ready for the first game of the season."

Frank has said: "Destiny is progressing, but it's too early for him to be involved in the squad."
