Tottenham Hotspur could complete as many as six transfers before the 11pm deadline tonight. Spurs have had a busy summer, spending over £300million on eight new players for Roberto De Zerbi. But the north London club have still started their new Premier League season with back-to-back defeats.

As De Zerbi looks to turn it around at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, more incomings and outgoings are expected before the window closes this evening. Express Sport brings you all the details on what could happen at Spurs today...

Double Chelsea deal

Tottenham are set to make their final two signings of the window, both from London rivals Chelsea, before 11pm tonight. Mykhaylo Mudryk is set to join on loan with an agreement already in place that includes an option, not an obligation, to make the move permanent next year.

The Ukrainian winger has not played in the Premier League since November 2024 due to a drugs ban. Yet he has now been cleared to play and De Zerbi remains a big fan of the 25-year-old after working with him at Shakhtar Donetsk previously.

And Mudryk's Chelsea team-mate, Tosin Adarabioyo, is also Tottenham-bound to bolster the Italian head coach's options at the back.

Spurs have agreed a permanent deal for the 28-year-old centre-back, who will undergo his medical to swap London clubs this morning.

Richarlison denied his wish?

With the deal to sign Ndiaye having collapsed, Richarlison seems stuck. The Brazilian was lined up for a return to Everton, but reports claim he could not agree on personal terms with his old club.

And he wrote on social media last night: "After everything I've been through in the last few years, I've decided that never again will anyone decide my future for me. If they reach an agreement between Spurs and Everton, I will return to my beloved club.

"My intention was to go back to the place where I was very happy, yes, but the negotiations happened only in the way certain people wanted, and it will no longer be like that.

"Despite all this turmoil, I am under contract at Spurs and will remain at the club's disposal."

But Everton have agreed a deal for striker Folarin Balogun and are looking to re-sign Jack Grealish, which could put a block on a return for Richarlison. Though it cannot be fully ruled out that the 29-year-old finds a new club before the deadline.

Three exits to be confirmed

One of three exits expected to happen today is Pape Matar Sarr joining Juventus on loan. The Italian giants have the option to make the move permanent for £24m next summer after paying a £1.7m loan fee.

And Porto will also imminently complete the loan signing of 20-year-old left-back Souza until June 2027. The Portuguese club will pay the Brazilian's wages in full.

The arrival of Adarabioyo, meanwhile, paves the way for Kevin Danso to join Sunderland. The Austrian, 27, is set to complete a loan move to the Stadium of Light after requesting a transfer exit. The deal will include an option to buy.
