Netherlands secured first place in their group and extended their unbeaten start at the World Cup with a 3-1 win over already-eliminated Tunisia.
Tottenham's latest centre-back recruit Jan Paul van Hecke, set a new Dutch record at a World Cup when he completed 125 passes. The 26-year-old broke Jurrien Timber's record from 2022 (106 against Qatar), while no player in World Cup history has recorded that many successful passes in a match they have also scored in since Opta's records began in 1966.
